Maybe inadvertantly saving Ichigo just so he can have his own rematch with him. I couldn't see Grimmjow EVER choosing to save Shinigami. But then again, Bleach is one of the few Shounen manga that has not yet established an anti-hero character as of yet, and going into its final arc no less!

Well I mean that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing. Grimmjow would jump in and stop the final blow (landing in slow motion on wounded Rukia) just so he himself can slaughter those bastards that treat arrancar like crap! (sorry for my bad english)

I think that Ishida was supposedly to be an anti-hero type, but it didn't go that well...on the other hand, he actually kills/destroys hollows all the time, so indifference to the main character that "save" those that were turned in to a hollow (by cutting them to pieces no less), Ishida is actually "killing" them.

the best chapter since the final arc of bleach manga began><. that leader is really cruel! but glad to see you again, Nel^^
