From a muslim point of view, I would say this isn't true at all. Because we, muslims, beleive the Judgment Day has Major and Minor signs. Although almost all of the minor signs have been appeared but still non of the major signs has appear yet and the major signs are sequence of events that lead to Judgment Day . The exact time period from the begianing of the events i.e Major signs till Judgment Day is unknown but it is sure more than 40 years because we believe Jesus will return from heaven and he's gonna rule the earth for 40 years.

And this i.e The return Jesus is one of the Major signs.
