If they were to give him a proper Islamic burial they should have followed through all the way according to Sharia law. Otherwise they should have just said they killed him and dumped him in the sea.

It's all Good. Personally I don't care how they bury the Trash.

The probable Real Reason they dumped him in the Ocean is because they didn't want to create a Burial Site that Militant Islamist Bastards can turn into some Holy Shrine and rally around the Cause.

Having said that, doing it within 24hrs at least partly fullfils some of Islam's Edicts.
