most chineese, japaneese myths view dragons as gods, so basically natsu has a godly power as well

nice thought there may be something to that that could lead to natsu now or at some point pulling off the win? who knows but thats an interesting way to think of it

The whole fight could just be Natsu trying figure out why he can't eat the flames. And maybe ended up consuming them developing his DragonSlayer magic even further. Or he could just lose.

and this dark flame is screaming "itachi" for me.

but aside from that, i was entertained.Also, I seriously lol'd at the cover page. It's like mashima's mocking himself for excessive fanservice.

^Isn't there some famous Folklore in Japanese history about black Flames? Thought that's were Kishi got his idea for Itachi as well.

Yeah the cover was hilarious everyone expecting some barely clothed FT babe posing.
