What you watched, expected, and got.
Pretty simple, and for those of you who have been around the blocks, I'm sure you've come across threads like this before.
Here's how it goes:
• Say a show you watched, or manga you read.
• Say what you expected it to be like, usually relating to other shows / manga as comparisons
• Say what you got. Simple, easy, and entertaining.
Example:
What I watched: Neon Genesis Evangelion
What I expected: A sci-fi mech anime with rich characters, deep plot with symbolism, and psychological issues
What I got: all of the above, yet the entirety of the cast is infuriating and unlikeable to the point of a LOT.
