did madara defeate the 1st hokage or the other way around?

ok... i juz want to confirm it rite now.....

did madara kill the 1st hokage? i read sumwhere it said like that.
but.. chapter 370 says.... that 1st hokage defeated madara... can u people confirm which 1 is true?

Yeh Im pretty sure the First killed Madara then he later on died in a War. Id be interesting if Kukazu was the one that killed him.

It was never mentioned how the 1st died.

He only fought Kakuzu, and for some reason it wasn't to the death.

My guess would be that the 1st died of injuries sustained after the fight with Madara. And im gonna guess that Kakuzu fought the 1st long before Uchiha Madara did. Only a guess though.

I think based on the latest chapter (370), Jiraiya-dono mentions that the 1st defeated Uchiha Madara and it's part of their "official history", but he didn't say whether Madara died from that engagement. Also from the next page, I think it's now implied that Tobi is indeed Madara (or a reincarnation of him through the same/similar body transfer jutsu that Oro uses?) and is still the mastermind who is trying to destroy Konoha and all the other hidden villages.
