Eh, I hardly see how people are drawing this much information from two--one extreme close up and the other quite distant--shadowy sillouettes, but I suppose WITH zooming in on the image for a closer examination the photo does vaguely liken that of Aokiji sitting atop a sea bird of some sort. Whatever...I'm content with waiting until the character does appear on Punk Hazard.
Anywho, what are some thoughts about where this arc heads next chapter? Is it complete or will the arrival of Doflamingo/mysterious fellow dawn another sequence of villainy and cooperation? As I believe I've mentioned previously, this last chapter was the typical wrap-up, end-of-arc, set-out-for-a-new-adventure chapter. Thus, I feel next week's will be more of the same, though everyone will begin to finally set out on their separate ways, of course ending in more information and setup for the next phase of Law's plan.
Regardless, what are your guys' thoughts; finished or not, uneventful departure or another great battle, new adversaries or new crew member, revelation or another "filler/setup" chapter? Any other ideas or notions you may have, discuss!
I still bet that Dofla would recapture his crew and Ceasar then Law and Luffy would have to chase him wherever he goes. I still even doubt that their target Yonkou would actually be their opponent. Oda could pull some twist to it.
Well i think thatluffy and law will only take C.C. leaving the others with smoker, so if flamingo has a confrontation with his crew i bet it will be with smoker. We are still not sure that flamingos powers work well on logias, all evidence points to his abilities not being a good match for logias. But i bet monet gets back up and vergo could get back together somehow. then with weapon girl and fat Timmy Turner they could escape and meet flamingo over the open water. But, it would be cool to see flamingo vs smoker then have it interrupted by aokiji. something like that.
^Not that I'm necessarily saying that Doflamingo couldn't retrieve all of his crew from PH, but would he? We know he's this seemingly heartless character who cannot stand failure associated with his name, and though he's already pardoned Vergo and Monet once, he did state that all failures following that same pardon would not be forgiven--aka another (possible) Bellamy situation. Therefore, what is the likelihood he recovers those four henchmen instead of simply letting them either be captured by Smoker or rest in piece (pieces as for Vergo) on the wasteland that is Punk Hazard? Sure it seems like a ridiculous blow for a Warlord to lose four of his crew, including his right hand man, especially when this character has been one of the more cutthroat pirate-esque characters in the series. On the otherhand, maybe that is simply Oda illustrating how far the "Worst Generation" has come over two years.
I am interested in how Caesar will be handled. Will Smoker play one of his slide of hands against Justice and allow Law and the SHs to "capture" Caesar, or will he make them force his hand. Also, broadcasting Caesar's defeat across teh NW to who knows who, as well as Caesar's substantial bounty may just create enough reason for bounty increases/new wanted posters for the crew, especially considering what sort of "unknown business" they disrupted for the WG.
Lastly, cross, if Doflamingo is half the pirate we all believe he is, he surely wields haki. Thus, Logias shouldn't be any more difficult than applying haki imbued string attacks.
Will luffy fight to Shanks in his next journey from the words of law???
