Welcome to the MS's first weekly song battle!

The song battle consists of two songs pitted against each other for you the users to vote for which song is better. The voting period will be open for this week (July 25-August 1) with the last two days being open for song requests. You have the entire week to vote so listen to the song, get a feel for it, and vote!

Side Note: There will be two different songs each week with a final tournament with each week's winner for song of the year.

im just tired of green day's 4 power chord wonder songs that manage to top the charts.

King of Pop ftw. Anyway, my request: "Give up the Funk" by Parliament. Sorry, as I am, for once, aware of the rule but my computer seems to have some kind of birthdefect here.

Well, I've never been a fan of MJ's music, so I went with Marijuana Day

dirty diana is a pretty good song

even though i like both im going to have to go with MJ

I'm going with Green Day, because it is one of my favourites.
Although "Dirty Diana" is good too.
