the first manga i looked at was some smut my friend lent me because she wanted me to draw her something and since it was translated to chinese i had no idea what was going on except that the 2 characters REALLY liked each other.

Dragon Ball...I forget the volume, it's the one where Goku and the others are fighting Baba's students(more acurately, the fight between Yamcha and the Invisible Man(hilarious advantage ftw!).

The first manga I ever read was Inuyasha...but the first shoujo I ever read was Fruits Basket. It's still one of my favorites :3

Personally I don't buy manga as I can just read or download chapters of my favorite series on the Internet, but if I had to name the first Manga that I have ever read it would have to be Dragon Ball.
