Was it a good idea for them to go straight to the story instead of following the Kakashi Gaiden arc right after Naruto goes training with Jiraiya?
I personally would've loved Kakashi Gaiden to have started up to cover the 3 year difference aside from the fillers...
What part of the story do you think they'll input the Kakashi Gaiden now?
who knows, they might not even take it any furthur than the manga at all...
Maybe they are gonna make a movie of the Kakshi gaden.
i think theve realised how stupid they were to skip it because theve had to fill the anime with 2 mins of manga and 20 of team guy gettin there asses kiked therll probly use it after this ark for filler so we can all see naruto the way its suposed to be made and shikamaru beheading hidan.
yeah they shouldve shown kakashi gaiden before shippuden. it doesnt matter to me if its a movie or fillers id like to see it
Well I mean, if Tobi is Obito, wouldn't that be a problem?
Then they'll NEED to get it in somehow. I wouldn't suggest a movie or some OVA either, it has to be in the show in order for it to flow with the story.
Well maybe them not showing is proof enough that Obito is not Tobi.

i guess they will be airing kakashi gaiden in the anime whenever kakashi has some scene with akatsuki and gets a flashback, so maybe we'll see the kakashi gaiden at a critical moment in naruto shippuuden
The Kakashi gaiden could never be stretched to replace the fillers...like it would last maximum 3 episodes.
But rite now shippuden with its loads of stretched fights and repeated scenes (gai team and deidara pursuit) is really becoming annoying
