i want to point out something.
in the translation, the elder nyon noted that the newspaper is a month old?
while in the other translations, the newspaper is a day old, which happens to coincide with the happenings in the shabondy archipelago.
i think a month old is a happenstance (i.e a mistake).

Why do people still contact us about mistakes in translations.
I wrote it 100 times already, we are using PUBLIC translations for our One Piece releases.
Here's the one we used this time.

And while we DO correct mistakes if we see them, like this line:
"Luffy: Look, I told you already... I have those Tenryuubito!!"
where cnet had a typo (most other groups didn't correct it to "hate"),
we won't correct things like the "mistake" that you found.
I doubt that it is a mistake, to be honest. Either way, I'm trusting the
translator here, since I don't speak japanese at all.
But the whole point is, if you think you've found a mistake in one of our releases, then check the credit page. Look for the translator, spot his
translation thread on mangahelpers.com and then tell him about what you've
found out.
