You can easily convert your 16-million color (24-bit) PNG images to 256-color (8-bit) with Irfanview's Batch convert  function (Irfanview.com).  This is to significantly reduce the total filesize of the manga chapter scanlation by 2 - 3 MiB . This means faster uploads for the uploaders, and faster downloads for the rest of us. It will just take a few seconds to convert the PNG files in the whole chapter. See these screenshots I made to help you configure Irfanview to do this:

Users with a few more minutes of time, can even use Irfanview's PNGOut extension to produce even smaller and optimized PNG files, just check the 'Use PNGOut PlugIn checkbox' in the first screenshot above. The default PNGOut options should work fine.

There is no difference in quality between the 256-color and the 16-million-color PNG images since the Mangastream.com source scanlation is 256-color only. (Except for the fan artworks, which should be kept in its original JPG format, as these types of images do not compress well with PNG.) See for yourself the Naruto Mangastream.com reader images to verify if they are indeed 256-color.

Also, please do not include the 'Thumbs.db' file (thumbnail cache; hidden from view by default) in your archives as this file does not serve any purpose in a non-Windows XP OS (and will automatically be generated in Windows XP anyway) and just increases the total file size of the archive.
